Welcome to another issue of the helloladner newsletter.

All over Ladner there are ladders and chairs and stools precariously balanced, propping up folks with hammers and nails and hooks and whatever they can get their hands on, as lengths of wires and bulbs are woven into all manners of designs, and wrapped around gutters and doorways and trees and unsuspecting grandmothers. Hours of hard toil are rewarded when the switch is turned on and ZZAPP! suddenly the world is lit up!
Yes, it is time to turn Ladner into Las Vegas and get ready to welcome the Man in Red / Homme en Rouge (and there are plenty of chances to meet the man over the next few days).
As Christmas approaches there's a lot going on locally. There are about 50 events listed below. Things kick off today (Friday) with the Tree Lighting Ceremony, the Children's Parade and the arrival of the Carol Ships.
